    Sam Pearse is a partner in Pillsbury’s Corporate & Securities practice and is located in our London office. He has wide experience in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, joint ventures, investment funds, private equity and finance. He spent eight months on secondment at an activist investment advisory fund advising on fund administration, fund structuring, co-investments and acquisitions.

    Sam has advised clients both within the UK and internationally on corporate and securities transactions in a wide range of sectors including financial services, technology, energy, aerospace and defense. His clients include Fortune 50 companies through to venture capitalists and leading-edge start-ups.

    Sam has deep experience on advising clients on investments, acquisitions and disposals, particularly on a cross-border basis, and accessing capital markets. In addition to transactional advice, Sam advises on restructurings and day-to-day corporate issues, particularly for his publicly listed clients.

    He also has a strong focus on investment funds, advising European and U.S. funds managers on fund formation, co-investments and regulatory issues, most particularly regarding the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive where he has assisted U.S. fund managers with accessing the European market.
