Ms. O’Grady focuses on complex commercial and intellectual property litigation for biotechnology, life sciences, computer, internet and communications, and other high technology clients, emphasizing licensing and patent disputes. She has had pre-trial and trial experience in state and federal courts. She has also represented clients in domestic and international commercial arbitration proceedings and in mediation. Her appellate experience includes both state and federal matters, including published decisions in FDIC v. O’Melveny & Myers, 61 F.3d 17 (9^th Cir. 1995); 580 Folsom Associates v. Prometheus Development Co., 223 Cal. App. 3d 1, 272 Cal. Rptr. 227(1990); and Sullivan v. First Affiliated Securities, Inc., 813 F.2d 1368 (9^th Cir.), cert. denied, 484 U.S. 850 (1987).

Ms. O'Grady was named by Law & Politics and San Francisco Magazine as one of Northern California's "Super Lawyers" (top 5% of Northern California attorneys) in 2005.
