Sheryl E. Stein
|
Ms. Stein's practice focuses on corporate and commercial matters. She advises clients regarding distribution, licensing, manufacturing and supply agreements, OEM/reseller agreements, consulting and technical services agreements, licensing matters, acquisitions and mergers, e-commerce and internet transactions, website terms and conditions, software development, support, hosting and maintenance agreements, use guidelines, and gift and prepaid cards. Ms. Stein provides advice to companies (including start-ups) offering products and services over the internet, as well as through traditional methods of distribution.
Ms. Stein advises on employment matters including discrimination, wrongful discharge and reductions in force. She prepares and advises on employee policies and procedures, employee handbooks and executive employment agreements.
Ms. Stein serves as the Chair of the firm's Attorney Development Committee. She also formerly served as the Los Angeles Office Corporate & Securities Practice Section Leader and the Los Angeles Office Managing Partner.
