Stanton D. Wong
|
Mr. Wong is co-leader of Pillsbury's Securities practice team. His practice focuses on securities and general corporate law matters, including public offerings, private placements, mergers and acquisitions, securities law compliance, corporate governance and general corporate representation. He works with public and private companies, investment banks, and venture capital funds in a broad range of industries, including technology and life sciences. He has advised clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies on a wide variety of corporate and securities law matters, including corporate governance, periodic reporting and disclosure matters, takeover defensive measures, and corporate partnering and technology licensing transactions. Mr. Wong has a broad capital markets practice, representing issuers, underwriters, placement agents and investors, and has worked on more than 200 public and Rule 144A offerings and numerous private placements of equity and debt. His mergers and acquisitions practice includes advising company and investment bank clients with respect to negotiated and unsolicited acquisitions, and he has represented investment bank clients with respect to more than 100 fairness opinions.
