Steven D. Hamilton
|
Mr. Hamilton is a counsel in the Real Estate group at Pillsbury. His practice focuses on real estate transactions with an emphasis on real estate finance, commercial leasing and hospitality.
His real estate finance practice emphasizes the representation of lenders in originating, restructuring and working-out construction and permanent loans, lines of credit and letters of credit. He also handles loan transactions involving Native American tribes, hotels and casinos, ground lease operations and dairy and agricultural businesses.
Mr. Hamilton also represents both tenants and landlords in negotiating commercial leases, subleases, letters of intent and related work letters.
His practice also includes hospitality deals, for which he primarily represents owners and operators of hotels. He negotiates management agreements, franchise agreements and technical services agreements for these types of projects. He also leads the efforts on acquisitions and dispositions of properties throughout the United States.
