Amy Pierce represents clients in nationwide, California-wide and New Jersey-wide putative class actions. She counsels clients on compliance with various state and federal laws and regulations across the United States. 

Amy's practice focuses on commercial litigation, including highly complex matters, and related federal and state law and regulatory compliance counseling.

Representative Experience

Prevailed on a motion compel arbitration on an individual basis filed on behalf of one of the largest national banks in the United States.


Prevailed when opposing a motion for summary adjudication on behalf of a larger footwear manufacture and retailer, resulting in an order confirming that the plaintiff cannot state a claim for relief under California law.


Opposing a motion for class certification on behalf of a major women's clothing and accessories retailer, resulting in a significantly reduced number of putative class members.

Professional Highlights

Testified before the State Assembly Judiciary Committee on proposed amendments to California's Contractors Law.
