Pillsbury Lawyers Contribute to BNA's Patent Litigation Handbook

MCLEAN, VA—Bloomberg BNA has now published its 2014 supplement to the Patent Litigation Strategies Handbook, Third Edition. Pillsbury Patent Litigation partner William Atkins serves as Co-editor-in-Chief of the 2014 Cumulative Supplement, in addition to authoring a chapter. Intellectual Property senior associate Christopher Dorsey also authors a chapter in the supplement.

According to BNA, the Patent Litigation Strategies Handbook “gives practitioners both the ‘how to’ and the ‘why to’ of patent litigation, with specific, proven tactics for protecting clients’ interests.”

The 2014 Cumulative Supplement is current through May 2014 with additional developments through June 2014 and covers practice before the District Courts, International Trade Commission and Patent Trials and Appeals Board, as well recent Supreme Court decisions redefining and clarifying principles of patent law. It also includes a review of federal court decisions following the 2013 Supreme Court Actavis decision and an analysis of a recent USPTO memorandum to the Patent Examining Corps.
