Pillsbury partners Bobby Ghajar and Richard Kirkpatrick were recognized in the upper bands by the World Trademark Review (WTR) in its "WTR 1000" rankings. The World Trademark Review is an independent publication that lists the world's leading trademark attorney firms and individuals. It is the first and only standalone ranking publication focusing on trademark issues.
The WTR recognized Ghajar for both portfolio and enforcement work, noting that his profile continues to rise as he earns national acclaim for his superb courtroom performance and recent trial successes. He is one of a small handful of California attorneys recognized for both areas. Kirkpatrick is acknowledged as an outstanding trademark prosecution and strategy authority and serves an eminent clientele including household names in retail, food and drink and sporting goods.
Selections for the WTR 1000 were based on research that covered more than 50 key jurisdictions and identified the leading practitioners and their firms in both contentious and non-contentious work.
