As Special Counsel, Alicia leverages technology to assist clients from a broad range of information-dependent industries, including health care, financial services, government contracting, hospitality, education and technology. - Advised a large healthcare organization in responding to multiple investigative demands by the Department of Justice involving False Claims Act allegations, negotiating ediscovery agreements and managing a complex, AI- driven ediscovery strategy.
- Counseled multiple healthcare organizations in a joint defense for a multidistrict antitrust litigation, developing a coordinating strategy and leveraging AI to respond to years-long discovery requests.

- Served as trial counsel for a young woman who wrongfully charged with multiple counts of assault and armed robbery, and detained 23 months prior to trial. A forensic discovery analysis led to exculpatory information and pushed two of the state’s witnesses to admit on the stand that they had lied to police. The client was acquitted on all counts.
- Represented Virginia inmate sentenced as a juvenile and eligible for parole following decades of incarceration.
- Represented domestic violence victim, securing a protective order against her abusive ex-partner.
- Represented Afghan refugee who fled the country following the end of U.S. occupation after working as a women’s rights activist, securing her green card following her application for asylum.
- Represented multiple tenants in a housing litigation against management and owners of a rental building with repeated housing code violations, mold, flooding, fires and gas leaks. Secured a favorable settlement for the tenants and tenant association.
