Amy Johnson’s practice encompasses all aspects of litigation.

Amy has experience assisting clients in both state and federal courts at all stages of litigation, from evaluating initial claims through discovery, trial and post-trial appeal. Amy has assisted clients in various complex civil litigation matters and product liability claims. A significant portion of her practice is focused on litigating commercial construction disputes on behalf of general contractors. She also represents policyholders in insurance recovery disputes, including under builder’s risk, commercial general liability and subcontractor default policies.

Amy graduated summa cum laude from Syracuse University College of Law. While at Syracuse, Amy served as lead articles editor for the Syracuse Law Review and as a judicial extern for the Hon. David E. Peebles of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York.

Prior to joining Pillsbury, Amy clerked for the Hon. Frank P. Geraci, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York. She began her legal career as an associate with an elite litigation firm in Washington, DC.
