Daniel Belhumeur is Of Counsel in Pillsbury’s Corporate practice and brings more than 20 years of executive leadership and legal experience in the liquefied natural gas (LNG) and broader oil and gas sector. He advises clients on complex M&A transactions, project development and construction, and cross-border matters, drawing on a combination of boardroom insight and legal acumen.

Before joining Pillsbury, Daniel served as president of a publicly traded energy company, where he led a strategic business realignment and oversaw significant M&A transactions. He previously held executive roles as executive vice president, general counsel and chief compliance officer, where he was responsible for legal strategy and execution across multibillion-dollar financings, international joint ventures and large-scale energy projects. Earlier in his career, Daniel played a key role in the structuring and financing of the first LNG export facility in the United States.
