Drew’s practice focuses on trusts and estates as well as on corporate matters. 

Drew advises high-net-worth clients in preparing detailed estate plans that reflect their family objectives and are transfer tax efficient. He routinely advises on complicated gift and estate taxation matters and he has implemented sophisticated estate plans including intentionally defective grantor trusts, preferred partnership freeze vehicles, charitable trusts and Qualified Small Business Stock transactions. Additionally, Drew works on a range of corporate and partnership transactional matters, including entity formation, complex limited liability company and limited partnership agreements, corporate governance, joint ventures, family limited liability companies and family limited partnerships.

Drew’s experience as both a trusts and estates as well as a corporate attorney gives him unique insights in representing business owners in various industries, and throughout their lifecycle, ranging from technology startups to government contractors to real estate investors.

Drew received a Master of Laws in Taxation with distinction from Georgetown University Law Center, where he focused his studies in trusts & estates, corporate, and partnership taxation.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Drew served nearly a decade in the U.S. Army Special Forces as a Green Beret. He conducted two combat tours of duty in Afghanistan and is the recipient of numerous awards.
