Georgina McCoig has experience in acting for a range of financial institutions and aircraft leasing companies on a variety of leasing and financing transactions, including portfolio sales, Japanese operating lease financings, secured financings, operating leases and engine leases. She also has represented creditors in the restructuring of major airlines.
Prior to joining the firm, Georgina worked for an international law firm and completed a client secondment with SMBC Aviation Capital.
Representative Experience
- Acted for a major operating lessor in negotiating engine leases between the client, an engine lessor and its airline customers.
- Represented a leading lender on a portfolio financing of aircraft on lease to lessees across multiple jurisdictions.
- Acted for a major operating lessor on the sale of a portfolio of wide and narrow-body aircraft.
