In the ongoing VietJet v FW Aviation case, the Court of Appeal has dismissed VietJet’s appeal in totality; the ruling will be warmly welcomed by aircraft finance creditors.

Georgina McCoig has experience in acting for a range of financial institutions and aircraft leasing companies on a variety of leasing and financing transactions, including portfolio sales, Japanese operating lease financings, secured financings, operating leases and engine leases. She also has represented creditors in the restructuring of major airlines.
Prior to joining the firm, Georgina worked for an international law firm and completed a client secondment with SMBC Aviation Capital.

- Represented a leading lender on a portfolio financing of aircraft on lease to lessees across multiple jurisdictions.
