Hana advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and investments. Her expertise includes navigating cross-border transactions for Japanese corporations in their U.S. acquisitions and investments.

Previously, Hana worked for a large Midwestern law firm, representing companies in a wide range of corporate matters, including entity formation, commercial transactions, and general corporate governance. Hana has also represented owners, operators and managers of various healthcare facilities, including ambulatory surgical centers and dialysis centers, in the acquisition and development of facilities throughout the country.

Prior to law school, Hana worked in Seoul, South Korea as an SAT instructor and human resources professional with The Princeton Review Korea. In addition to her instructing and recruiting responsibilities, she served as the liaison between Korean-speaking academic management and English-speaking teachers.

In combination with her law degree, Hana’s international experience brings an added depth and unique perspective to her work in serving a wide array of corporate clients. She is a thought leader in her field. She has co-authored articles on topics including Sales & Use Tax, the IRS policies’ effects on Employer Identification Numbers, cybersecurity when evaluating an acquisition, and more.
