Jake Bleich splits his work between Pillsbury’s Wine, Beer and Spirits Law and Litigation practices.
Jake devotes part of his practice to addressing challenges related to alcohol beverage laws and regulations, including regulatory, transactional and litigation matters. He works with wineries, breweries, distilleries, importers, distributors and retailers on advertising, trade practice, tied-house and other related issues.
He also works on general and complex commercial litigation matters, including breach of contract actions, insurance issues and tort claims.

- Counseling delivery company on national alcohol beverage laws to ensure compliance with varying state requirements.
- Advising multinational company on licensing requirements in multiple states in connection with acquisition opportunities.
- Completing multistate research surveys addressing various regulatory considerations, including investigating tied house issues arising from advertising campaigns, assessing the viability of production-sharing arrangements and evaluating data retention policies for compliance with state laws.
