Jenna Reed is a seasoned federal litigator focusing on Trust & Safety architecture, online youth safety, AI compliance and high-stakes litigation.

A former DOJ National Coordinator, Jenna joins the firm following a distinguished tenure as a U.S. Marine Corps Officer and Senior Trial Attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice’s Criminal Division. She has extensive experience managing complex federal and cross-border litigation, leading specialized teams in transnational investigations and litigating cases involving human trafficking, cybercrimes, national security and international human rights violations. She helps clients navigate regulatory scrutiny, design defensible policies and investigations, and litigate digital, fraud and cross-border disputes.

Representative Experience

  • Advised the U.S. Attorney General’s Office on national policy and online safety frameworks, led the implementation of DOJ’s National Strategy to Combat Human Trafficking and assisted in the drafting of the DOJ’s National Strategy for Child Exploitation Prevention and Interdiction.
  • Served as lead counsel in 29 federal trials, including prosecuting and defending high-stakes cybercrime, online exploitation, national security and financial fraud.
  • Led more than 50 transnational digital investigations with major technology platforms, and managed cross-border data disclosures under the Electronic Communications Privacy Act, Mutual Legal Assistance Treaties and international privacy laws.

  • Served as DOJ’s National Project Safe Childhood and Human Trafficking Coordinator within the Executive Office for United States Attorneys, providing guidance to 93 U.S. Attorneys’ Offices nationwide.
  • Designed national compliance controls, field guides and training modules in partnership with DOJ’s National Advocacy Center on emerging online-safety laws and policies.
  • Partnered with State Attorneys General, NCMEC, major technology companies, international task forces and the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee on online-safety and child exploitation initiatives and policy.
  • Successfully litigated before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
