John Storz has extensive experience representing creditors, ad hoc groups and investors in out-of-court and in-court restructurings and distressed transactions, and routinely advises institutional investors on their investment activities across the capital structure, including developing and executing innovative structures.

John has significant experience in general corporate, securities, governance and finance matters, including mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt offerings, corporate reorganizations and joint ventures. He represents clients across a range of industries, including manufacturing, telecommunications, financial services and biotechnology.   • Represented the independent members of the board of directors of a developer and manufacturer of electric vehicles in connection with a bridge loan provided by affiliated entities.
  • Represented an ad hoc group of holders of convertible debt issued by the world’s leading manufacturer of sustainable ingredients made with synthetic biology in connection with the company’s chapter 11 proceedings, including the 363 sales of substantially all of its assets.

    • Represented a global provider of expedition cruises and adventure travel experiences in its acquisition of a controlling interest in a luxury cultural walking tour company.
    • Represented a renewable energy development and financing company in connection with multiple financing transactions, culminating with the company’s sale to a leading investor in climate change solutions.
    • Represented a company that developed an intuitive technology platform designed to support financial advisors through its provision of tools for portfolio management, client engagement and compliance, in connection with a series of acquisitions and an equity financing.
