Jon Schreiber advises public and private clients on a variety of corporate transactions such as mergers and acquisitions and private equity investments.

Jon focuses his practice on general corporate matters and is based out of Pillsbury’s Los Angeles office. During law school, Jon worked at the East Bay Community Law Center in the Community Economic Justice clinic and served as the co-Director of the Student-Initiated Legal Services Project, the Name & Gender Change Workshop. In addition to his corporate practice, Jon is committed to pro bono and graduated from Berkeley Law with Pro Bono Honors Distinction.

Representative Experience

  • Represented CalPERS in the largest secondary sale transaction ever, which was a divestiture of $6 billion in private equity stakes from the fund’s $50 billion private equity portfolio.
