Ryan focuses his practice on complex litigation and investigations, including high-stakes commercial disputes and government enforcement actions.

Ryan represents clients in a wide variety of complex litigation, including breach of contract, real estate and other business-to-business litigation. His clients include public and private companies and individuals. Ryan also has extensive experience in conducting internal investigations and defending clients in connection with government actions at the state and federal level related to white collar criminal, securities enforcement and other regulatory matters.

Representative Experience

  • Secured full dismissal of federal anti-kickback charges for physician client, where aggressive motion practice led the U.S. Attorney’s Office to voluntarily dismiss the action after a multi-year, nation-wide investigation.
  • Led internal investigation at Fortune 50 financial services company, garnering crucial cooperation credit that was instrumental in reaching favorable settlement outcome of multi-year parallel investigation by the DOJ and SEC.
