Scott Perlov offers comprehensive counseling to investors, startups and emerging technology companies through all stages of the growth life cycle, with clients ranging from solo founders to late-stage-venture-backed companies. His experience includes early-stage angel and venture capital financings, corporate infrastructure, securities, tax and equity incentive matters. Scott represents a diverse range of technology companies, as well as numerous angel investors, strategic investors and venture capital firms.

With deep experience in the California and Colorado startup ecosystems, Scott operates as an outside general counsel to early-stage and venture-backed companies, offering creative, pragmatic and cost-effective advice, whether tactical or strategic. He has managed hundreds of financings, from early-stage angel rounds to late-stage-pre-exit preferred stock financings.

Prior to joining Pillsbury, Scott was a shareholder at the Denver and San Francisco offices of a national firm. Additionally, he serves as a pro bono supervising attorney for the Entrepreneurial Law Clinic at the University of Colorado School of Law, and regularly mentors founders at tech-oriented accelerators.
