Stephen Baker advises alcohol beverage industry clients on regulatory, transactional and litigation matters, drawing on firsthand experience in the wine and hospitality sectors.
Stephen divides his practice between Pillsbury’s Wine, Beer and Spirits Law and Litigation practices.
He advises on client challenges stemming from alcohol beverage regulations, ordinances and laws, including litigation, transactional and regulatory matters. He also represents brewers, importers, retailers and distillers relating to tied-house and trade practice issues, as well as complex litigation matters, including tort claims and breach of contract issues.

Stephen has over seven years of litigation experience, mainly in commercial litigation and construction defect-related matters. His experience also includes advising multinational and multistate companies on licensing change requirements and distribution agreements in connection with acquisitions.
Before joining Pillsbury, Stephen owned and operated businesses in the wine and hospitality industries and worked as a consultant in both fields. He is passionate about all things culinary and enjoys cooking, entertaining and traveling with his partner in his spare time.
