Stephen is recognized for his extensive experience across UK and EU competition, merger control, regulatory, water and environmental law. He has guided clients through mergers, joint ventures, commercial agreements, compliance programs and competition investigations, and has represented clients before the European Commission and the Court of Justice of the European Union. He is a member of the Law Society and the Bars of England and Wales.

- Provided competition advice on various distribution models and market entry strategies as regards cars, chemicals and soft plastics, capital goods, medical devices, cosmetics, spirits, steel products, a learn-to-paint system, saunas, kitchen goods, etc.

- Assisted a legal training services provider with an ultimately successful claim for damages against the Law Society of England & Wales before the Competition Appeals Tribunal in the first ever fast-track case.
