Tommy Chan is an associate in the London office of Pillsbury and a member of the firm’s Asset Finance team.

Tommy has experience in acting for a range of financial institutions and leasing companies on a variety of cross-border aircraft leasing and financing transactions, such as operating leases, sale and leasebacks, and secured loan transactions.

Prior to joining the firm, Tommy worked for an international law firm in their Hong Kong and London offices and was a member of their global asset finance practice.

Representative Experience

  • Acting for a well-known arranger and lender with respect to Japanese operating lease refinancing of used A320-200NEO aircraft
  • Representing a leading lender on sale and leaseback of a portfolio of helicopters on lease to lessees across multiple jurisdictions
  • Advising a major lessor in potential enforcement action against various international airlines
