Carolyn is Co-Chair of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) Women’s Leadership Committee. She will highlight verbal and nonverbal communication styles and mannerisms that may undermine a woman’s appearance of confidence and provide practical strategies for communicating effectively in a professional environment. The program will be followed by a workshop where participants will practice impactful communications and receive practical advice and guidance through communications coaching to hone and improve their skills.
The NAPABA Convention is an annual gathering of Asian Pacific American attorneys, judges, law professors, and law students. NAPABA represents the interests of over 50,000 attorneys and over 80 national, state, and local Asian Pacific American bar associations. This year is the organization’s 29th Convention and plans to draw over 2,000 attendees in Washington D.C.
