The Puerto Rican Bar Association recently recognized Former Presiding Justice of the New York Supreme Court Appellate Division, First Department and Litigation partner Rolando Acosta at its annual Scholarship Fund Gala.

Having 25 years of judicial experience, Acosta received the Judiciary Excellence Award and is considered a “veteran in navigating complex litigation landscapes,” according to the Brooklyn Daily Eagle.

The article notes Acosta served as a trial and appellate judge on the Supreme Court of the State of New York and is “celebrated for his unwavering commitment to the rule of law.”

The Dominican Bar Association (DBA) also recognized Justice Acosta at its 20th annual Scholarship Gala—honoring him with the Lifetime Achievement Award, the DBA’s most prestigious award.
