The 2018 edition of the annual PTAB Handbook has been released by Bloomberg BNA. The Third Edition of the all-inclusive guide helps IP practitioners navigate the complex and ever-changing rules and procedures that govern the Patent Trial and Appeal Board hearing process. Pillsbury partner William Atkins has served as Editor-in-Chief of the publication since its inaugural edition and again spearheaded the extensive research it contains.
Established as a streamlined alternative to slower, more expensive IP litigation in federal court, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board has overseen more than 7,100 petitions and rendered thousands of decisions since its inception.
