BTI Lists Pillsbury as Most Recommended Law Firm for More than 15 Years in a Row

For the list, BTI places an emphasis on unprompted recommendations from general counsel and other legal industry leaders, based on the idea that these recommendations are earned more on a firm’s merit than those given when the respondent is questioned about a specific firm. According to the report’s findings, superior client service is the main reason behind the majority of recommendations.

“Like many firms, we have adopted client service standards, but in our eyes, that’s just a starting point,” Firm Chair David Dekker told Law360. “We build strong client relationships by fully immersing ourselves in each client’s business, knowing the industry in which they compete and understanding the specific goals they want to achieve in each engagement.”

Through its annual list, BTI recognizes leading law firms based on recommendations they receive from service they provided clients across 17 industry segments. Law firms were chosen based on more than 300 in-depth telephone interviews with top legal decision makers, including Chief Legal Officers, those who spend the most on legal affairs, thought leaders and business executives who have influence over the hiring of a law firm.
