Cinematic history repeated itself in November when the producers of the CBS modern-day Sherlock Holmes series “Elementary” shot the 12th episode of its second season in Pillsbury’s New York office on Times Square. The show, starring Jonny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu, aired on December 12.

As office managing partner Jon Whitney pointed out in a note to local staff, Pillsbury legacy firm Winthrop, Stimson, Putnam & Roberts provided a filming location for the 1987 blockbuster film Fatal Attraction. The lead character, played by Michael Douglas, was an attorney whose working scenes were shot in the firm’s offices at 40 Wall Street.
