As part of its annual recognition of the most impressive practice groups in the U.S., Chambers USA has identified Pillsbury as a candidate for 2024 Construction Law Firm of the Year.
Pillsbury’s nomination is based, in part, on its high-profile construction engagements handled in 2023 that include ongoing representation of Amec Foster Wheeler USA Corporation in an approximately $2.43 billion investor state action against the Republic of Colombia, as well as notable successes for Mill Creek Residential Trust in its resolution of a 20-plus party dispute regarding completion of a 241-unit residential development, and CBG Building Co. in its jury trial victory in a wrongful denial of coverage case against Berkley Assurance Company that, according to the presiding judge, “may have set a record” for how quickly the jury returned its verdict in a civil case.
