NEW YORK – At its Oct. 26 virtual awards ceremony kicking off National Pro Bono Week, the City Bar Justice Center will recognize Andrew Alfano and Melissa Pettit with its 2020 Outstanding Pro Bono Service Award.
Among over 1,000 attorney volunteers, Alfano and Pettit were named as the most outstanding volunteers for 2020 based on their demonstrated commitment to the project and its clients, quality and volume of legal work, willingness to take on challenging assignments and leadership in support of pro bono. Both are associates in the firm’s Insolvency & Restructuring practice in New York.
Each year, the City Bar Justice Center provides free civil legal services to approximately 26,000 vulnerable New Yorkers.
