Council on State Taxation's Property Tax Workshop 2017

This two day workshop will cover the latest Property Tax issues and trends that companies will be dealing with in 2017 and beyond. Advanced Valuation Issues, “Dark Store” Issues, Property Tax Relief, Equalization and Uniformity are just a few of topics on the agenda. An interactive audit session covering property taxes in the United States is also planned.

On Thursday, September 28, 1:30 – 2:20 pm, Pillsbury counsel Breann Robowski will discuss the importance of making sure your property is taxed only once per year in “Don’t Let the Assessor Commingle Your Property - Strategies to Separate Personal Property from Real Property.”

Also on Thursday at 3:35 – 4:25 pm, Pillsbury partner Craig Becker will address the cost, market, and income valuation approaches in “Just Want the Basics (or a Refresher) - Valuation Issues for the Beginner.”

Pillsbury senior counsel Richard Nielsen will cover a variety of California tax issues in “California Dreamin’ – Handling Property Tax Issues in the Golden State” on Friday 29, 9:35 – 10:45 am.
