The Environmental & Natural Resources Law Section of the Texas State Bar appointed Pillsbury Environmental associate Ashleigh Acevedo as Editor-in-Chief of the section’s Texas Environmental Law Journal, a joint publication with the University of Texas School of Law. Through this role, she will also serve as co-chair of the Section’s Publications and Communications Committee.

Acevedo’s practice focuses on advising clients in connection with compliance objectives, environmental liabilities and complex environmental projects and risks of various kinds. She counsels clients on an array of environmental litigation, regulatory, and crisis matters, including contamination investigations, remedial actions, natural resource damages, compliance counseling, project permitting and planning, and project impacts mitigation and restoration. She also assists clients in a broad range of water quality issues related to permitting, compliance, and enforcement. Ashleigh serves as a member of Pillsbury’s Crisis Management team, assisting clients navigate through and manage the aftermath of complex crises.
