Pillsbury has received a perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign’s annual Corporate Equality Index (CEI) survey for the 13th year in a row. Businesses across different industries complete the survey about their corporate practices and policies, which gives the Human Rights Campaign insight into national trends related to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer employees.

The CEI promotes the adoption of LGBTQ-specific policies within existing business structures, according to the report, and surveys reflect employers whose benefits, policies and practices extend to LGBTQ employees and their families. The ratings are based on four main criteria:

  • Non-discrimination policies across business entities
  • Equitable benefits for LGBTQ workers and their families
  • Internal education and accountability metrics to promote LGBTQ inclusion competency
  • Public commitment to LGBTQ equality.

In addition to the Pillsbury’s consistent perfect rating on the CEI, the firm is regularly included on Working Mother’s list of top companies and best law firms and was recognized this year by Chambers & Partners as Law Firm of the Year in Furthering Women’s Career Progression, Talent Management and Mentoring.
