Implementing The Texas Coastal Exchange
April 26th - 27th, Rice University will host a SSPEED conference to discuss their new concept, the Texas Coastal Exchange. This Exchange will create a vibrant economy around buying and selling ecosystem and carbon sequestration services such that land management practices that maintain, restore or create low-lying marshes, prairies, and bottomlands become economically beneficial for landowners. This willing buyer-willing seller system is under development.
