As part of its “Nuclear-Powered Profiles” series, Nuclear Matters, a national coalition working to inform the public and policymakers about the benefits of nuclear energy, recently featured a video profile of Pillsbury Energy practice co-leader and former Nuclear Regulatory Commissioner Jeff Merrifield.
In regard to the Voglte Plant in Waynesboro, Georgia, Merrifield said he is “very proud of the work done by Southern Company, Westinghouse and the many suppliers who were involved in the completion of [Unit 3] where it’s going to be providing clean, reliable power for Georgia for many years to come.”
