Pillsbury has selected Insolvency & Restructuring partner Dania Slim to serve as its 2023 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellow.

Practicing for a minimum of eight years, demonstrating leadership skills, keeping communities engaged, staying committed to diversity and inclusion efforts, and serving as an impact player within the organization are all requirements that candidates must meet and exceed for consideration for the LCLD Fellows program.

Dania Slim helps clients such as debtors, creditors and other parties in interest maximize value by using her bankruptcy, litigation and corporate skills in both in- and out-of-court restructurings.  As the co-leader of Pillsbury’s Attorneys of Color Network, she also helps Pillsbury’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee spearhead firmwide inclusion efforts.

The firm has also selected Corporate senior associate Jessica Dabiri and Global Sourcing & Technology Transactions senior associate Jengeih Tamba to participate as 2023 members of the LCLD Pathfinder program—an opportunity presented to diverse, early-career attorneys. The Pathfinder program presents critical career development tactics with an emphasis on leadership skills and professional networking.

LCLD Pathfinders participate in activities ranging from professional development events to networking with preeminent leaders in the legal field while working together in collaborative peer circles.

Jessica Dabiri focuses on securities transactions and general corporate matters, including initial public offerings, venture capital financings, and mergers and acquisitions, as well as other transactional matters.

Advising both technology consumers and vendors, Jengeih Tamba focuses on complex commercial arrangements involving digital services and complex, large-scale information technology and business process outsourcing transactions.

“I am so proud of Dania, Jessica and Jengeih for their impressive accomplishments to date” said Stacie Yee, partner and Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer at Pillsbury and a 2015 alum of the LCLD Fellows program. “In selecting them for LCLD’s marquee leadership training programs, Pillsbury recognizes those accomplishments and is making an investment in their personal and professional success.”

The LCLD has grown to an organization of more than 400 members who serve as either general counsel of major corporations or managing partners of the nation’s leading law firms since 2009. Click here to learn more about LCLD.
