New Mexico State University Center for Public Utilities Advisory Council Current Issues 2020

The Current Issues Conference features industry leaders and commissioners to discuss issues facing the electric, natural gas, water, and telecommunications industries.

Jeff will participate during the “Emerging Clean Generation Technologies” panel moderated by the   Hon. Jeremy Oden, Chair, NARUC Subcommittee on Clean Coal and Carbon Management;

Commissioner, Alabama Public Service Commission. The panel will highlight how the generation industry could shift to a spectrum of emerging technologies such as new nuclear, renewable technologies, carbon capture and sequestration methodologies, and storage. The panel will discuss how the new technologies work, the status of research and timeline for deployment, and issues around commercial viability and cost, as well as regulatory issues confronting deployment and operation.
