As part of Pillsbury’s continuing series on the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) Cybersecurity Regulation, Brian Montgomery, a former NYDFS deputy superintendent, and Mark Krotoski, former National Coordinator for the Computer Hacking and Intellectual Property Program in the Department of Justice, will discuss the new NYDFS cybersecurity requirements that began on May 1, including meeting next-phase requirements, incident response, a NYDFS checklist of issues to prepare for in case of a cybersecurity event, and more.
