The RIC offers participants an inviting atmosphere that promotes open dialogue to share valuable information about emerging issues in the regulation of nuclear power plants and nuclear safety research, as well as in the areas of security and the nuclear fuel cycle. The RIC is a dynamic forum where domestic and international industry leaders can exchange ideas and experiences on matters related to nuclear safety and regulation.

Through informative technical sessions and stimulating panel discussions, the RIC technical program will underscore the agency's readiness to face new challenges and will include sessions on topics such as advanced reactors, risk-informed decision-making, accident tolerant fuels, fuel cycle issues, the regulatory impact of advances in digital technology, and regulatory research.
