Intellectual Property partner Evan Finkel was recognized in the Los Angeles Business Journal’s list of “The Most Influential Intellectual Property Attorneys in Los Angeles.” Finkel is the leader of Pillsbury’s Intellectual Property group for the Los Angeles office and regularly manages all facets of intellectual property law, with an emphasis on all aspects of consumer electronics and computer-related technologies. He has more than 30 years’ experience representing clients in intellectual property litigation and post-grant proceedings and frequently leads IP due diligence in mergers and acquisitions.

In its profile of Finkel, the LABJ highlights his patent infringement win on behalf of client Toshiba Corp. for damages totaling $31 million and his success in representing Globeride Inc. in a challenge against the company’s patent on an “Oscillate Mechanism for a Fishing Spinning Reel.” More recently, Finkel was co-counsel to Pixar in a patent infringement case in which the court found in favor of Pixar.
