Pillsbury advised cleantech startup, Airly, in a $5.5 million Series A financing round led by firstminute capital and Pi Labs.

Used by over 500 local authorities in more than 40 countries, Airly crafted a system using affordable air quality sensors to make air quality visible and understandable to communities around the globe. Currently, 5,000 sensors cover 40,000 active measurement points in Warsaw, the UK and Indonesia.

The platform offers real time updates such as health risks of poor air quality, sources of pollution, air quality improvement recommendations among many others.

The Pillsbury deal team included Corporate partner Stan Lewandowski and associate Kristin Garr.
