LONDON – Antony Single has joined Pillsbury’s top-ranked Asset Finance team as a partner in London. He comes to Pillsbury from Clifford Chance, where he was a partner and helped establish the firm’s asset finance practice in the Middle East.

Single advises financiers and lessors on aviation, defense and other asset-based and receivables-backed finance and leasing transactions. He has a broad range of financing and leasing experience, where he has worked on transactions utilizing commercial debt, warehouse facilities, capital markets, funds platforms, tax enhanced and Shari'a compliant structured financings. He also has extensive experience in airline restructurings and workouts.

“Much like our seasoned asset finance professionals around the globe, Antony really does it all in this highly-specialized sector,” said Mark Lessard, leader of Pillsbury’s Finance practice. “The fact that he has thrived in both up and down markets was very attractive to the team. Likewise, he brings bona fide accomplishments in the Middle East, where we share many clients and interests.”

“We are delighted that Antony is joining our London Asset Finance team where he will play a key role in working with us to grow and develop our practice further,” said Graham Tyler, a London partner and co-leader of Pillsbury’s Asset Finance practice. “Antony brings great sector skills, knowledge and experience, and he will augment our existing capabilities globally.”

“I have known and worked with members of Pillsbury’s impressive Asset Finance team for many years and have always been impressed by their deep bench and performance at the very highest levels,” Single noted. “This is a world-beating team and one that I am thrilled to become a part of.”
