For the 18thconsecutive year, BTI Consulting has hailed Pillsbury for its exceptional service to clients. The firm ranked 29th out of 282 law firms identified as showing the greatest commitment to nurturing deep client relationships and also garnered recognition from legal decision makers as one of the 15th most improved firms for client service. The strong overall response earned Pillsbury its 7th appearance on BTI’s prestigious Client Service Elite 30 list.

Pillsbury scored particularly well for their keen client focus, their commitment to help, a concerted effort to keep clients informed and an ability to provide concrete, unequivocal advice on pressing business issues. Survey respondents praised the firm for its responsiveness and cohesiveness, citing Pillsbury’s “great tech practice” and “fierce litigators” as standout strengths. One client lauded the firm’s ability to “lay out a situation and then make recommendations,” noting that not every firm does the latter. Another interviewee said Pillsbury “always has the answers and is on top of everything.”

For this year’s report, BTI surveyed 350 General Counsels and Chief Legal Officers at companies with at least $700 million in annual revenues. Respondents were asked to single out—by name—the law firms who they feel demonstrate real prowess in activities driving superior client relationships.
