Four Pillsbury lawyers and three of the firm’s practices have been recognized among the Asia-Pacific region’s best in the Chambers Asia-Pacific 2021 guide. Ranked practices include Aviation: Finance, Construction and Projects & Energy.

Pillsbury’s asset finance practice was praised for being “excellent due to ease of communication and the hands-on approach.” Hong Kong office managing partner and co-leader of the firm’s Aviation Finance practice Paul Jebely was individually ranked in both the Asia-Pacific region and China.

Recognized for Dispute Resolution in South Korea, partner June Yeum was highly praised by clients for her “profound experience and knowledge in international arbitration.” Yeum “takes care of her clients very well and is an enormously hard worker—people love working with her.”

In Japan, the firm was recognized in Construction and Projects & Energy, with Tokyo partners Simon Barrett (Construction; Projects & Energy) and Anthony Raven (Projects & Energy) both earning individual recognitions. Barrett was hailed as “an authority on project finance deals” and noted for having “excellent technical skills in the field,” while Raven was lauded for his “deep knowledge regarding oil and gas business-related matters.”
