Pillsbury Named to List of Most Recommended Firms

Law360 reports today that Pillsbury has been named to BTI Consulting Group’s 2015 list of the most recommended law firms. The firm is one of only 25 that have been recommended for five consecutive years in BTI’s Most Recommended Law Firms Report. The results of the report are based on in-depth telephone interviews with leading legal decision-makers at large organizations with $1 billion or more in revenue, and the list draws from a pool of 650 law firms that serve large and Fortune 1000 companies.

Michael Rynowecer, BTI’s president and founder, tells Law360 that the firms that consistently make the list do so because they have been able to continue meeting rising client service expectations.

“Corporate counsel expect more from their law firms,” Rynowecer said. “They’re under the most pressure they’ve ever been, not only for cost control but to drive business. It’s not just about understanding regulations but about using them to get a product to market faster, to create a product that didn’t exist before or to find a way to get regulatory approval faster. Corporate counsel look to outside law firms for help on these issues … and not every law firm picks up on that immediately.”
