Dixon concentrates his practice on counseling and disputes regarding the formation and administration of government contracts, grants and cooperative agreements at the federal level. His clients range from large Fortune 500 companies to small, disadvantaged businesses. These companies offer the federal government a wide range of products and services, including, among other things, major weapons systems and subsystems to the Department of Defense, Medicare administration, health information technology, and analytics services to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, as well as pharmaceutical, engineering, construction and transportation products and services.

Jean advocates for commercial insurance policyholders against their insurance companies. He has represented policyholders on some of the nation’s largest and most important catastrophic losses, including wildfires, hurricanes, floods, COVID-19, defective construction losses such as the Surfside Condominium Collapse in Miami and major D&O claims. Applying his thorough understanding of insurance law and the complexities of policy coverages and exclusions, he offers clients real world, proactive and strategic business advice to win arguments and avoid disputes. Notably, he has helped clients recover more than $5 billion in insurance proceeds.
