The Women in Compliance Awards program has selected Pillsbury as its 2020 Regulatory Law Firm of the Year. The program acknowledges standout women leaders as well as high-performing teams that are either led or heavily composed of women.

The Women in Compliance Awards recognize and celebrate the achievements of female compliance professionals in industries around the world. The program honors individuals, teams and their companies for initiatives, innovations and cultures that drive a commitment to compliance within their organizations. Women in Compliance winners are determined by panels of expert judges selected from a group of 45 esteemed compliance professionals.

Pillsbury’s DC-based Regulatory and Public Practices Section leader Nancy Fischer and International Trade lawyer Sahar Hafeez, were also recognized as finalists this year. Fischer was a finalist for the Compliance Lawyer of the Year category and Hafeez was a finalist for the Junior Compliance Lawyer of the Year category.

“We are honored to receive this recognition,” said Fischer. “The women in the compliance and regulatory sectors provide outstanding legal advice and are a significant asset to the firm’s overall success.”
