Blue Owl Capital’s acquisition of 10 Airbus A321 aircraft leased to Vietnam Airlines was named Used Aircraft Deal of the Year at Ishka Airfinance’s 2025 Global Deal of the Year Awards. Pillsbury advised the borrowers and purchasers on the transaction.
Blue Owl Capital acquired the aircraft from Vietnam Aircraft Leasing Joint Stock Company, with the aircraft remaining on lease to Vietnam Airlines. Crestone Air Partners, LLC (successor to Arena Aviation Capital) provided servicing, while PK AirFinance financed six of the aircraft.
The awards were presented on October 20, 2026, during the Ishka Aviation Investival: North America in New York City.
