Pillsbury client Schrader-Bridgeport International was successful in having several patent claims held invalid under an America Invents Act review before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board this week. The maker of tire pressure monitoring systems argued that the patents at issue were unpatentable, based on prior art that had been invented by an Italian company before the asserted patent.

Intellectual Property partner Bryan Collins, who represents Schrader with special counsel Robert Fuhrer, told Law360 the client is “pleased with the outcome.” Read Law360’s full article here (subscription required).
