Three Pillsbury lawyers— Tamara Bruno, Mona Dajani and Matthew Morrison—have been recognized by Law360 as 2021 MVPs. This is the second consecutive selection as a Project Finance MVP for Dajani. She is joined this year by Pillsbury partners Bruno and Morrison, who were named to the Insurance and Environmental categories, respectively.

The elite attorneys who are chosen as Law360 MVPs are chosen based on hard-earned successes in complex global matters, record-breaking deals, and high-stakes litigation over the past year. Editors reviewed almost 900 submissions to determine the winners across 37 areas of practice.

Bruno exclusively represents companies and institutional policyholders in complex insurance matters and disputes. She has experience in all industries—including energy, technology, hospitality and manufacturing—and advises on a wide range of business insurance issues, with a particular focus on D&O and cyber coverages.

Dajani, qualified as a lawyer in the U.S., as a registered foreign lawyer in England and a licensed professional engineer, serves as a lead lawyer in complex mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, financings and project development transactions involving energy and infrastructure facilities in the United States and around the world. She is the global co-leader of the firm’s Energy and Infrastructure Projects Team and also leads the Renewable Energy practice.

Morrison advises clients on a host of environmental compliance issues. Having spent more than two decades at the Environmental Protection Agency and the Justice Department prior to entering private practice, he brings particular insight in relation to enforcement defense matters, compliance and rulemaking challenges in sectors such as chemical manufacturing, oil and gas, renewable fuels, energy generation and mobile sources.
